The Polish government has changed the quarantine rules due to the decline in infections recently. 

 

Quarantine policy changes

As of 11 February, people in close contact with an infected person must undergo quarantine. An SMS about the quarantine term will be sent to the affected people. 

 

As of 15 February, the following changes will take effect: 

  • The quarantine will last seven days

  • Quarantine for people under the same household will last seven days

 

Return to full-time education

Due to the introduced changes, the Minister of Education and Science announced a faster return to full-time education. On February 21, all students return to school. School holidays remain unchanged.

 

Healthcare

The current situation allows for increasing the possibilities of treating patients in other areas than those related to COVID-19. By the decision of the Minister of Health, 5,000 covid beds will be restored for other patients.
