All travellers arriving in Portugal by air or sea from the countries listed below can enter for essential and non-essential reasons. However, the passengers are required to provide a PCR Test not older than 72 hours before boarding or an EU COVID-19 certificate as of July 1st, 2021. Children under the age of 12 years of age are not required to present a test. In addition, all passengers need to fill a Passenger Locator Card before departure to Portugal.

Travelers from Brazil, India, Nepal, and South Africa are only permitted to enter Portugal for essential travel reasons. In addition to the ordinary requirements listed above, they need to comply with a 14 days quarantine after arriving in Portugal.

 

For all travelers entering Portugal by road or train, there are no restrictions except for citizens from Brazil, India, Nepal, and South Africa within the last 14 days. They are required to comply with a 14 days quarantine after arriving in Portugal and registering themselves before entry.
