Current travel situation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs still calls for the avoidance of foreign travel, which is not necessary.

 

Traveling from the Schengen area

Travelers are required to quarantine for ten days. The quarantine can be waived if the traveler has a negative COVID-19 test before departure or within 48 hours of arrival.

 

Traveling from outside of  the Schengen area

Travelers are required to go into quarantine for ten days. The quarantine duration can be shortened by taking a COVID-19 test at the border with negative results.

  • People from India, South Africa, and Brazil cannot be released from quarantine based on a test performed within 48 hours after returning to Poland.

  • Citizens and residents of Georgia, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, South Korea, Tunisia, and Australia may enter Poland without additional restrictions.

  • People vaccinated against COVID-19 are released from quarantine. The vaccination certificate must be recognized in the EU.


International students are exempted from quarantine after crossing the Polish border.
