The Government has decided to ease the restrictions on entry into Finland for certain countries based on the assessment of the current situation. However, the rest of the decisions from 21 June will remain in force.

 

Internal Border - Entry from Schengen countries

The internal border control will be lifted for the following countries:

 

  • Austria 

  • Czech Republic

  • Germany 

  • Italy 

  • Liechtenstein

  • Slovakia

 

External border - Entry from non-Schengen countries

The travel restriction will be lifted for the following countries: 

 

  • Bulgaria

  • Albania

  • Hong Kong

  • Japan

  • Lebanon

  • Macao

  • North Macedonia

  • Taiwan

 

The restriction will apply again to Monaco and Rwanda.

 

The changes will enter into force from 1 July 2021.
