Currently, the German Government allows entry for individuals residing in the following countries;

  • Australia

  • Hong Kong (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)

  • Israel

  • Japan

  • Lebanon (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)

  • Macao (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)

  • New Zealand

  • North Macedonia (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)

  • Serbia (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)

  • Singapore

  • South Korea

  • Taiwan (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)

  • Thailand

  • USA (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)

China will be included in the list as soon as a reciprocity agreement is reached between the countries. 

 

Furthermore, the German Government has newly designated Namibia as a virus variant area. Furthermore, Oman is now considered as an area with high incidence.

 

The following countries listed below will be newly considered as areas with increase infection risk;

 

  • St. Kitts and Nevis

  • Uganda

  • Cabo Verde - is now considered a simple risk area (previously high incidence area)

The following countries listed below are no longer considered as risk areas;

  • Belgium

  • Denmark - the region of Southern Denmark

  • Estonia

  • France - all of continental France as well as the French overseas departments Martinique and Saint-Barthélemy

  • Greece

  • Jordan

  • Lithuania

  • Netherlands - the provinces of Friesland, Groningen and Zeeland

  • Norway

  • The Palestinian Territories

  • Switzerland

  • Slovenia - the Goriška, Jugovzhodna Slovenija, Koroška, ​​Pomurska, Savinjska and Zasavska regions

  • Spain - the autonomous communities of Aragon, Castile and León, Catalonia and Madrid, and the autonomous city of Melilla

  • St. Lucia
