Travelers from List D are not required for 5-day self-quarantine if all of the following conditions are met:
In the last 14 days before entering Italy, they have not been in a List E country or in Brazil, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka
Present vaccination certificate
A negative molecular or antigen swab test was taken within 72 hours before entering Italy. Travelers from the UK and Northern Ireland, and the British Isles, the swab test must be taken 48 hours before entering Italy.
Japan, Canada, and the United States
Travelers from the above countries can enter Italy without self-quarantine if the following conditions are met:
Present a Passenger Locator Form
A negative molecular or antigen swab test was taken within 72 hours before entering Italy.
EU Digital COVID Certificate
Without the EU Digital COVID Certificate, travelers are required to undergo 5-day quarantine.
India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka
Travelers from the countries listed above or staying in those countries during the last 14 days are not allowed to enter Italy, with a few exceptions.
Travelers who have stayed in or transited through Brazil during the last 14 days are not allowed to enter Italy, with a few exceptions.
The current entry restriction for India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Brazil are valid until 25 October 2021.
