Very high-risk areas for virus variant 

The following countries are considered as very high-risk areas where the virus variant is of concern. 

 

  • Argentina

  • Bangladesh 

  • Bolivia

  • Brazil

  • Chile

  • Colombia

  • Dominican Republic

  • Ecuador

  • French Guiana

  • Guyana

  • India

  • Myanmar 

  • Nepal 

  • Pakistan 

  • Panama

  • Paraguay

  • Peru

  • South Africa

  • Suriname

  • United Kingdom 

  • Uruguay 

  • Venezuela

 

Very high-risk areas

The following countries are very high-risk areas based on the Dutch government:

  • Bahrain

  • Cabo Verde

  • Costa Rica

  • Kuwait (from 8 July onwards)

  • Maldives

  • Mongolia (from 8 July onwards)

  • Namibia (from 8 July onwards)

  • Oman (from 8 July onwards)

  • Seychelle

 

People traveling from these countries must first check the EU travel to see if they can enter the EU. If yes, mandatory quarantine, negative Covid-19 test, and health declaration are required.
