Covid-19 latest news for exchange students going to Finland
The Finnish Government extended the current travel restrictions on entry into Finland until 17 April 2021. The Government still recommends avoiding unnecessary travel abroad, except for countries for which the restrictions on entry have been lifted. Under the current travel restrictions:
The Covid-19 pandemic continues. To curb the spread of Covid-19 variants, The Government decided to extend the current restriction to enter Finland until 15 June 2021. The decision will take effect on 24 May. Minor amendments will be adopted
Covid-19: Internal border control to be reinstated
The government has decided to continue the internal border controls between Finland and the Schengen countries and the same restrictions decided on 28 December 2021 will apply to all travelers arriving from abroad to Finland until 31 January.
